Recently, I ordered a vintage Vivien Smith evening dress from Oxfam online store, for the masquerade ball I am going to in May for the end of year party. Originally I wasn't really looking for a new dress, I just happened to be looking on the Oxfam site for volunteer work for the summer, and stumbled upon their online vintage store. Most of the clothes were too big for me, sizes 12+ seemed very popular, then I found this dress. It's strapless, with a black velvet corset, and a midnight blue two tiered dress. It's a medium, which is usually too big for me, but the measurements fitted mine, and it was on sale! Reduced from £25 to £12.50, and although I don't have much money at the moment, I managed to spare the £15 (inc p+p) as I completely fell in love with this dress. Three days later I received an email to say it had been dispatched by second class Royal Mail, and should be with me within three working days. However, it has now been five working days since it was dispatched and there is still no sign of it. I have emailed Oxfam and they've said that if it still hasn't arrived tomorrow, they will refund me as it is lost in the mail. But I want this dress to turn up so badly, it is perfect in every way and I don't want it to be lost in the system, especially when Royal Mail are so unreliable. Fingers crossed!
